Waseem Zafar is the Audit and Taxation Manager of Sterling Management Group, Inc. Mr. Zafar passed his CPA exam from North Carolina in May 1996. He has fifteen years of experience in cost, financial, and tax accounting with different organizations.

He was controller with Stratford University, an assistant controller with Piedmont Poultry Company and senior accountant with HealthScribe, Inc. (Medical Transcription business). He has extensive experience in the full accounting cycle utilizing generally accepted accounting procedures, computer proficiency in Timberline (software for construction project accounting), MAS90, Peachtree, QuickBooks, (accounting software) and Prosystem fx (tax accounting software).

He has hands on experience in all aspects of accounting for preparation of consolidated financial statements, budgeting, year-end audit and preparation and filing of corporate and partnership tax returns. He has Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond (1989).
